Established in September 2025, PPERC is funded by the School of Environment, Education and Development at the University of Manchester, UK.
PPERC brings together researchers working across the University to generate a critical and innovative outlook on challenges around energy participation, low-carbon transformations and equity.
Our focus is on how the geographies of culture, infrastructure and social reproduction jointly shape energy systems change.
