As of today, this site has a new structure – from our initial aim to act as an information vehicle for the EVALUATE project, we are now starting to work towards providing a wider virtual home for the wide variety of energy and cities-related scholarship at the University of Manchester.
The transformation, however, should not significantly impact the ways in which our growing number of visitors (more than 2000 in the first 6 months of the site!) will experience and navigate through its various pages. We will maintain our external contributor stream – indeed, several new such posts are in the pipeline – while continuing to inform about, and reflect upon, energy and poverty developments across the world. The only two substantial changes will entail the addition of new pages for the various projects hosted by our researchers, and the creation of a special category feed for each project. This will mean that it will be possible to see project-related posts on the blog as separate streams, alongside the general blog feed.
This site is meant to serve as a platform for engaging with our diverse audience of academics, policy practitioners, NGO advocates. We look forward to seeing you here in the future!
