CURE director and EVALUATE co-ordinator Stefan Bouzarovski is currently undertaking a visiting fellowship at the Department of Institutional Change and Regional Public Goods at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Development and Structural Planning in Erkner, Germany.
As part of this visit Stefan will deliver a seminar titled Conceptualizing domestic energy demand: Towards a geographical perspective, at 2 pm on Thursday the 22nd of January. The seminar brings recent work undertaken within the EVALUATE project into a dialogue with broader questions surrounding the spatialities of energy as they relate to the political and cultural processes that shape modern homes. As such, it builds on the recent paper on the importance of services, needs and practices listed in the University of Sussex SPRU Working Paper series.
The seminar also seeks to highlight the embeddedness of domestic energy demand within broader processes of urban, regional and institutional change. A poster with detailed information about the event can be found here.
